Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

• Background investigation as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and document observations and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned systems to deter unauthorized access and maintain a professional environment.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned systems in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
