Allied Universal in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Observation). You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while providing excellent customer service to personnel and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screening as applicable, with shifts that include mornings and weekends. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving positions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refining location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
