As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor entry, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Follow site rules, including required personal protective equipment and hazardous-material area restrictions, while maintaining accurate patrol logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
