Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Wilmington, DE. You will provide customer service, perform patrols, verify access, and respond to incidents while upholding safety and compliance standards.

In this role, you will drive on-site to maintain a visible deterrent, support secure operations, and engage with employees and visitors. The position emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and procedural issues in accordance with chemical and petrochemical facility requirements.

Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:
