Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by enforcing security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned buildings and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications according to site requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government-operated location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
