Job summary

Allied Universal in Katy, TX is seeking a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites in technology, media, and telecom environments. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following our established procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
