Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Assessment in Dallas, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to post orders and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of security experience; CPR/First Aid and badge access experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Assessment in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, checking credentials as directed, and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
