Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporter in Tulsa, OK. You will patrol campus areas, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to students, staff, and visitors while following campus protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to staff.
• Complete accurate activity reports and logs per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:30 AM - 08:30 PM
• Tue 08:30 AM - 08:30 PM
• Wed 08:30 AM - 08:30 PM
• Thur 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
