Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace/defense location, following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular irregular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or access concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor activity, and report access exceptions to site staff.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs; communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

As an Unarmed Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activities, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access exceptions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observed conditions, incidents, and follow-up needs to Allied Universal supervision and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
