Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Route Planning to protect clients across financial institutions and other facilities. You will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

This role includes monitoring access points, reporting irregularities, completing incident reports, and following established protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience minimum.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• State/local licensing may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility including entrances, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and report irregularities.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain related documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
