Allied Universal® is seeking a security officer for an aerospace/defense site. This full-time role pays $19.36 per hour with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors, monitor access, respond to alarms and incidents, and conduct patrols to deter unauthorized activity. All applicants undergo background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• State/county/city license preferred for security professionals.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and with escalation reporting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/vehicle/incident documentation.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, and facility concerns to Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, suspicious activity, and/or facility concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
