Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Response Driver in Palm Bay, FL. The role requires active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and delivering customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document events. The schedule is DayTime and Night shifts; this position offers flexible shift opportunities and a path to additional roles via our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Age minimums: 18 for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Verify credentials and monitor access points, reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly; document observations and notify appropriate personnel or responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and access events.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-control irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, access-control events, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
