Job summary

Allied Universal® in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection Driver with a DoD Secret Clearance to safeguard a defense/aerospace site. This part-time role offers flexible DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, and patrol duties with a strong emphasis on customer service.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and file reports; must meet requirements: at least one year of security

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at a defense and aerospace location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on patrol observations, incidents, access-related activities, and other security-related concerns, following Allied Universal and site procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
