Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, exits, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and document observations and reports.
• Assist with access control, opening/closing procedures and directing visitors/deliveries.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Assist with access control, store opening and closing procedures, and direction of visitors and delivery personnel as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
