Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Monitor access points; verify visitor and contractor authorization per site procedures; maintain logs and incident reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations; escalate to site leadership and emergency responders as directed.
• Assist in protecting facilities, equipment, and shipments by observing loading, receiving, and storage areas; report suspicious activity.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with the protection of facilities, equipment, and shipments by observing loading, receiving, and storage areas and reporting suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
