Job Description

As a Security Officer TWIC Access Control in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control activities, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required visitor and access-control documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
