Allied Universal in McPherson, KS is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) to provide customer service and deter security-related incidents at a refinery location.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, access control, incident reporting, and calm response to alarms. Requires a driver’s license, 6 months of security experience, and a high school diploma.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery grounds, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a controlled environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
