• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and designated locations, documenting observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor/contractor activity per site requirements, verifying authorization and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
• Complete accurate activity and incident reports and deter unauthorized activity with professional presence.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical refinery location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and designated operational locations, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor/contractor activity in accordance with site requirements, verifying authorization and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing and reporting potential risks, and completing accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.li>
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
