Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Baytown, TX. You will provide customer service, conduct unarmed patrols, and manage access control while maintaining a visible security presence at a chemical/petrochemical site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed by established protocols.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and report hazards, damaged equipment, or suspicious activity to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

• Thur 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
