Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and vendors at a technology-focused location by following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access-control concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership regarding unusual conditions or security observations.

As a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol Driver Response in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site policies.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual conditions, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
