Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation Driver in Houston, TX to help safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial locations. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service while remaining vigilant and professional.

Position is full time with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required, and duties include documenting patrols and reporting security concerns in accordance with site policies.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working conditions varying throughout the site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
