Allied Universal in Houston, TX, is seeking a Security Officer full-time, unarmed, with patrol and driving responsibilities at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will monitor access, perform patrols, and respond to emergencies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
