Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with staff, guests, and emergency responders.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with hotel staff, guests, and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
