Allied Universal in Mattapan, MA is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors. You will provide customer service, perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns with integrity.

• Document incidents and daily activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Mattapan, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
