• Monitor access to the property and verify visitor/contractor authorization as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and promptly per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Campus Patrol in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.


• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
