Job summary

Allied Universal in Boston, MA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Review to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other settings. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, deliver courteous customer service, and report incidents to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in line with site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and retail location guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.
