Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Patrol Driver) in Orlando, FL. The role involves unarmed security duties at an aerospace/defense site, with a DoD Secret Clearance and a $20.50/hour pay rate.

Schedule includes Sat and Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with a flexible, shift-based platform to claim additional shifts. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining professional communication

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records and communicate concerns to leadership.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, maintaining professional communication with employees and visitors.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while promptly communicating security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
