Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
