Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Emergency Aid Security Officer for Penns Grove, NJ. You will monitor school facilities, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Aid in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report concerns, manage access-related activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school district protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and communicate observations to appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
