Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Response in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report irregularities or policy violations.


• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
