Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per school policies and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate information to leadership and contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school policies, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
