Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Accountability) in Brownsville, TX. You will monitor and safeguard client locations, maintain a visible presence, and support access control while delivering professional service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor and contractor arrivals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:
