Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Brownsville, TX. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service for manufacturing and industrial sites.

Responsibilities include visible patrols, incident reporting, and compliance with site procedures. Minimum requirements include being 18+ with a HS diploma and background check; a valid driver’s license for driving roles may be required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity across production areas and facilities.
• Verify visitor/contractor authorization and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site procedures and reporting appropriately.
• Complete incident reports and shift documentation accurately.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, exit, and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations; complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
