As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and employees with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate transit personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns, and document incidents and daily activities according to site procedures.
• Assist with crowd management, provide directions and information to the public, and maintain a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
