Job summary

Allied Universal® in Millbrae, CA is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer (Patrol/Driver) to provide security and customer service across client sites. This full-time position requires active driving, a valid driver's license, and a readiness to respond to incidents per site protocols.

You will conduct patrols, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and support secure access, reporting observations and coordinating with site contacts to maintain a welcoming, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, building exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
• Monitor access points and help support authorized entry and exit procedures in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
