• Assist with emergency responses, access control, and visitor direction as needed.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Kingston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sat 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Observe and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities, access control, and directional support for visitors as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
