Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Kailua Kona, HI to provide security, customer service, and a visible presence at a government court location.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents while delivering professional service to visitors and staff. Pay is $24.00 per hour with daytime shifts available and a commitment to safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of courthouse grounds, entrances, public areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with established entry procedures and posted requirements.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
