Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by following site‑specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site requirements.
• Document observations and patrol activity and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
