Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Coshocton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity and communicate clearly while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.41 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, employee spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support compliance with site access, sanitation, and restricted-area requirements while communicating professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
