Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Springfield, OH. You will manage access points, verify entry, monitor activity, and provide excellent customer service at a food and beverage site, helping deter incidents with a visible, trusted presence.

You will perform site-specific procedures, respond to situations, and support safety and compliance while maintaining positive relations with clients and employees.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage facility by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, maintaining entry records, and following established visitor-management procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support the protection of food production and storage areas by reporting unsecured doors, unauthorized access attempts, damaged access-control equipment, and other site-policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
