As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet tools to document activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence and adherence to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
