Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public at a government transportation location by following site procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify authorized entry and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify supervisors or responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs of patrols and interactions with the public.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify supervisors and/or emergency responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
