As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Mechanicsville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide courteous customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation-related government location.
• Respond to incidents, roadway-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and public agency personnel while following Allied Universal and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
