Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Rockford, IL to safeguard government locations and support a secure environment. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional customer service

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency protocols.

As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and primarily drive throughout assigned areas to help deter incidents, report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $23.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
