Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer supporting a busy retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and staff, and communicate professionally with the team. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
