Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with facility access procedures, and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports and logs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 07:30 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 07:30 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 07:30 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health crises, and critical situations in a calm, respectful, trauma-informed, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with facility access procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
