As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with hospital staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
