Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Warrensville Heights, OH. You will provide patient, visitor, and staff security, deter incidents, and maintain a visible, helpful presence in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include unarmed patrols of hospital facilities, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents with calm professionalism. A high school diploma and ability to meet hospital vaccination requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Requires hospital vaccination compliance.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals as needed.
• Primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ages 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and Allied Universal policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• This is a primarily driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
