As a Security Officer Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel and visitors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
