Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and documenting visitor, vendor, and contractor activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security‑related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
